***I cull what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I got a review copy of this book, (simply I have already bought my own copy) but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any volume!!

The cover is very cool! I like it!

This is the get-go volume in the serial!

This is an interesting new globe! My just thwarting is that there was no romance, merely I'grand hoping that changes in the next volume. There were some wearisome parts for me with the earth building, but this happens in new worlds. I definitely call up it is going to grow and getter improve as Grayson and Alicia's relationship grows. In that location is the mystery of looking for Alicia'south parents, and she ends up in a earth similar to Alice's Wonderland. Alicia fights for others which makes me admire her. Grayson had some moments where he needed to be slapped and take his eyes opened. In the end, he made up for his mistakes. The faeries were interesting characters. I can't expect to run across what Alicia and Grayson get themselves into next!

I recommend to all paranormal fans who like interesting worlds mixed with witches, mages, shifters, magic, and more than! I can't wait for more than!

A fairytale retelling of Alice in wonderland with a mix of urban fantasy. Alicia must battle a dark queen who is draining magic from others including herself in wonderland. Luck comes her way and she finds help from unexpected places, and meets a dragon shifter on the way. She just hopes all of this will be enough to defeat the dark queen, considering with her magic existence blocked and the dragon shifter not being able to shift because of the magic draining queen the fight could prove to be much more A fairytale retelling of Alice in wonderland with a mix of urban fantasy. Alicia must boxing a dark queen who is draining magic from others including herself in wonderland. Luck comes her way and she finds help from unexpected places, and meets a dragon shifter on the way. She merely hopes all of this will be plenty to defeat the dark queen, because with her magic being blocked and the dragon shifter not being able to shift because of the magic draining queen the fight could testify to be much more than hard than expected.

This book is a fast paced book that has only a little chip of everything from a new twist on Alice in wonderland to a fight against nighttime magic at work.

This book has well developed characters that are easy to connect with and then much and then you will detect yourself falling downward the rabbit hole with them, and find the story condign a part of you.

At first I wasn't so sure about this book because I don't really read fairytale retellings very much, but in one case I was a few chapters in time just seemed to disappear along with the book. By the time I realized that I was washed with the volume I found myself wanting more. I can't wait to meet what the next book will be well-nigh and what other worlds Alicia might travel to.

I am looking forward to more than in this series and seeing how Ms Vale reinterprets other classical fairy tales.

Magic abounds in this read that abounds with mystical magical worlds. Alicia, the main graphic symbol is in search of her parents who have seemed to have disappeared. As she travels through some Beautiful but Dangerous Worlds she finds allies in the near unusual circumstances.

Grayson, a dragon shifter, has been invited to this world and works for the Queen. But one time he sees the true darkness within her things modify dynamically for him.
I am an gorging fan of classic story retellings and this volume definitely fits that category. Yous run across the originals in these uniquely twisted characters. The story pulls you in but in some spots information technology pulls yous in more than others. The author does a expert job at making this story period and movement forth at a good pace. At that place are some surprises in this story and there are a few spots of where you lot'll think you lot know what has happened but the author will keep you lot guessing.
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I actually enjoyed reading this volume and wait forwards to the next volume in this series. I'thousand eager to learn where it is that Alicia and Grayson will go next and what this new globe volition be similar. I have to say I have never really been a fan of "Alice in Wonderland" and then wasn't sure what to expect, just when I started reading " Broken Magic" I was immediately drawn into the story. I take to say I have never actually been a fan of "Alice in Wonderland" then wasn't certain what to expect, simply when I started reading " Cleaved Magic" I was immediately drawn into the story. It starts off with a Alicia running for her life from some hellhounds, and merely when she things she is safe and heading through the portal to home, she finds herself in a whole dissimilar world. This is a very unique twist to a familiar fairytale. Fifty-fifty if yous aren't sure, like me, almost reading this piffling twist of tales, accept a chance and read it. I recollect y'all will find it as intriguing and exciting equally I did.

Alicia is a white witch searching the unlike realms for her missing parents. This new world is full of strange fascinations and within it she finds her magic is existence blocked by something or someone. Her simply hope is to meet with the Queen. Can she trust the dragon shifter that saves her from an evil true cat? There are temptations along the way that may evidence to potent for even Alicia to resist. Will the dark magic win over or will Alicia concord her moral ground and be stronger than the evil pulling at her?

A pretty good read. I was definitely intrigued to read the rest of the story afterwards that get-go affiliate, Alicia seemed similar a pretty strong character that was easy to honey (some of the time). I loved this take on the Alice in Wonderland tale with its twists and turns.
I loved Alice and Grayson together (loved when he was starting time introduced), I thought their interactions were proficient and I loved the banter that happened between them at times. I liked how strong of a character he was compared to Alicia, A pretty good read. I was definitely intrigued to read the rest of the story after that starting time chapter, Alicia seemed similar a pretty strong grapheme that was easy to love (some of the time). I loved this take on the Alice in Wonderland tale with its twists and turns.
I loved Alice and Grayson together (loved when he was commencement introduced), I thought their interactions were good and I loved the banter that happened between them at times. I liked how strong of a character he was compared to Alicia, although I would dear to have been inside his head to know how he thinks and what he's actually like on the inside.
I thought the other characters were well written although I thought some did seem to blend with the side by side simply I liked their interactions with each other too.
There were a few tedious going parts but something about it made me go on reading the story, I was dragged in just wanting to know what happens in the end. I found there seemed to be a few unanswered questions, for me anyway, and then I'm hoping they become revealed in the next volume. I can't wait to see how the residue of the storyline unfolds between Alicia and Grayson

This was wonderful! Loved that Broken Magic has elements of Alice in Wonderland in it! Super fun and absurd! Alicia is a white witch, who has the ability to jump to different worlds, but when she lands in an unusual world, where she can't use her powers to open a portal to leave, she finds herself in some intense and dangerous situations. Alicia has been on a quest to find out information virtually her missing parents, who besides have the power to leap worlds, just have mysteriously disappeared. Alicia This was wonderful! Beautifully visual descriptions, and I really enjoyed the unique quirks Catherine Vale added to the Wonderland story. Alicia is a strong character, and I appreciated her tenacity and spunk. Catherine Vale did a great job of adding depth of emotion to the story, which made the characters more vivid and real. I'm definitely checking out the next volume in this serial! Now she's in Wonderland and tin't access her magic and there's a dragon shifter who says he's been called there by the Queen plus a party with some very interesting stu A great start to a new series! The characters you start to go to know in this first book and I tin can't look to learn more about them in coming stories. I have a feeling the stories will exist very interesting! A great start to this new series. Alicia is a white witch and is on the search for her missing parents. While hopping portal to portal to find them, she gets stuck in Wonderland, a world ruled past an evil Queen who drains all magic.

This is a expert, solid story. There were some slow parts, simply it picks up nicely with lots of energy. Alicia encounters some different people and beings, who is she trust?

I love this writer so reading this volume was a no brainer! Nifty characters...Alicia is a white witch and looking for her parents. They disappeared visiting unlike realms...they are called travelers and oasis't come up habitation so she needs to find them. I have long been a fan of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There. This book - while totally original - works beautifully every bit homage to the Alice tales and great example of the fantasy genre. Alicia Stark, the white witch portal traveler, is just the sort of kick-a** heroine I adore. Her chemistry and budding relationship (ups and downs) with Grayson works beautifully and this book, with its wonderful cast of supporting characters and exciting (and really well written) plot, is simply fantastic. No Jabberwocky here: this is pure fun.

OMG I don't desire to give annihilation abroad so I won't merely the twists and turns in this crawly story are astonishing. It's total of mystery, cant, expose, magic and sction! Wow what a combo. If has witches, dragon shifter, hell hounds, evil queen, fae, and Sooooooo much more I dear the characters. Alicia is a kick butt human activity

This was a pretty good book. Information technology had a hint of Alice in Wonderland vibe. The adult version. This was definitely a fantasy blazon read with trivial romance so guys you can read this book and not think chick flick reading.

Different have on Alice in Wonderland. Alicia'southward parents have gone missing and she plans on finding them. Her search has taken her to many places, just none quite like Wonderland so far. Grayson has received an invite to Wonderland, and there he meets Alicia.
Alicia is a wonderful character who just doesn't give up, even when all seems lost. She too knows who she is and doesn't seem willing to cede that just to become what she wants. Can't look to detect out where her next adventure takes her. I Different take on Alice in Wonderland. Alicia's parents take gone missing and she plans on finding them. Her search has taken her to many places, but none quite like Wonderland so far. Grayson has received an invite to Wonderland, and there he meets Alicia.

This book drops you into activity, and doesn't allow go! Equally usual, Catherine Vale creates a new earth with incredible skill. This story is a new have on Alice In Wonderland. The globe building is incredible, and Alice is an interesting, strong heroine. The supporting cast is as well fantastic. I couldn't put it downward. If you are non a fan of fairytale retelling, take a chance with this volume,anyhow. It is completely different than anything out there today. What a interesting blend of fantasy and a unique twist of Alice in Wonderland. I really hope that we get to see more than of Alice travels while she try to discover her parents. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read and a cracking first for a new serial. So if your a fan of fairytale retelling with a twist you should definitely ane click this book. This book is awesome. A modern day accept on a classic fairytale filled to the brim with magic and suspense.
This well-written book kept me turning the pages from start to finish for several hours of in-depth amusement. The writer expertly weaved a magical world of fantasy, paranormal, and intrigue, mixed with her ain special add ins that made this read totally unique.
I would definitely recommend highly to PNR & UF lovers teen and up.
Looking forward to more in this series...before long please!

This 1 was unlike from books that I've read. Information technology'southward completely intriguing. Right from the starting time it drags you into the story because y'all only have to know why Alicia is portal jumping. Then through in a Alice in Wonderland twist you accept yourself a combination for a proficient book. I was a little iffy about Grayson at first, only he grew on me. I did actually like Alicia though. She's one tough cookie and has guts. Over all a good book! This ane was different from books that I've read. Information technology's completely intriguing. Broken Magic stars one kicka$$ white witch. Alicia has a heart of goodness and seems almost innocent. I similar that in a tough situation she keeps her head. Even when she meets Grayson she is friendly but wary. I don't actually compare this world of wonderland to the archetype, I simply liked the action and adventure and information technology doesn't hurt that she picks up a good looking dragon shifter for a friend. What a start to new worlds. Broken Magic jumps correct into the activeness with Alicia running for her life. The worlds that are described what up front end are wonderful. Alicia is on a fantastic journey to look for her parents. When she is left to her ain devices and not able to use magic, things get really interesting. I tin easily visualize the Queen and all the other characters. The story is remarkably vivid. This is simply the first story in the series. I can't wait to meet more than. What a beginning to new worlds. Broken Magic jumps right into the action with Alicia running for her life. The worlds that are described what up front are wonderful. Alicia is on a fantastic journey to await for her parents. When she is left to her own devices and not able to utilise magic, things get really interesting.
